Pimacihowin
"Making a Living"

The Pimacihowin project includes youth between the ages of 16-21 attending Cst. Robin Cameron Education Complex and Stobart Community School in Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation. Teaching them our smart green and passive house building technologies.

The program follows a semester system which consists of two five-month semesters in one academic school year.

The Pimacihowin Project collaborates with the housing coordinator and public works director to establish the priorities of renovation projects within the community.

Since the implementation of this project, these youth have shown increased attendance, engagement, and completion of training modules.

The Pimacihowin Project is a program that is recognized and supported by the Ministry of Education with the government of Saskatchewan. Additionally, the Pimacihowin Project also registers their participants with Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship Program.
