"Making a Living"
The Pimacihowin project includes youth between the ages of 16-21 attending Cst. Robin Cameron Education Complex and Stobart Community School in Beardy’s Okemasis First Nation.
The program follows a semester system which consists of two five-month semesters in one academic school year.
The Pimacihowin Project collaborates with the housing coordinator and public works director to establish the priorities of renovation projects within the community.
Since the implementation of this project, these youth have shown increased attendance, engagement, and completion of training modules.
The Pimacihowin Project is a program that is recognized and supported by the Ministry of Education with the government of Saskatchewan. Additionally, the Pimacihowin Project also registers their participants with Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship Program.
The Pimacihowin Project is a fully integrated program that educates and trains youth through modular programming including online training and education from qualified instructors with Bachelors in Education, to Journeyman; Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, and Welders.

The objective of the Metis small Home project is to develop a high energy efficient Vereco Smart Green Home that can be built repeatedly by various Metis communities across Saskatchewan.
